Welcome James Leeson and Kylee Monroe!

We are thrilled to introduce the newest members of our landscape architecture team, Kylee Monroe and James Leeson. Both bring fresh perspectives and unique talents to our firm, and we couldn’t be more excited about their futures with BW.
Meet Kylee Monroe: A Passionate Landscape Architect with a Creative Spirit
Kylee spent time after her undergraduate degree working with her dad visiting job sites, and learning to draft. Always finding purpose in creative expression, she began pursuing her master's in landscape architecture at the University of Idaho. Since then, she has received multiple awards in her field, including the Idaho-Montana ASLA Student Merit Award, and is currently a Laf Olmsted Scholar. Outside the office, you can find Kylee hiking, mountain biking, and fly-fishing; enjoying all that the Inland Northwest has to offer.
Introducing James Leeson: A Landscape Designer Driven by Purpose
James is driven by the desire to find new ways to do things and make things better. Through landscape architecture, he is passionate about good stewardship of our land and the symbiosis between humanity and nature. He was first exposed to this field in an effort to skip freshman chemistry, landing instead in a horticulture and landscape design course. With the switch he found a new passion. A history buff and metalhead, James enjoys spending time with his family outdoors while hunting and fishing.

With the addition of Kylee and James, we are more energized than ever to continue pushing the boundaries of landscape architecture in the Inland Northwest. Their combined expertise, from Kylee’s award-winning design work to James’s focus on sustainability and stewardship, will help us continue to deliver exceptional spaces that enrich our communities and honor the natural world.
