University of Idaho Campus Drive and Administration Circle Improvements
In 2018, the Bernardo Wills Architects landscape architecture team started designs for improvements of the University of Idaho campus drive and admin circle. The circle is an iconic and heavily used feature on campus, but the 80-year old pavements were past their service life and needed repair by replacement. This project involved demolishing the campus drive, and re-engineering and re-constructing new drives, curbs, gutters, walkways, and amenities. One major feature the design team incorporated was the lighted columns that create a gateway to the admin circle and complement other lighted columns throughout the campus walk.
