Firm Lands Design-Build Projects

BWA – with general contractor Garco Construction – secured two significant design-build projects: the Washington State Department of Transportation (WSDOT) North Central Region Administration Facility in Wenatchee and the BCT Complex, Unaccompanied Enlisted Personnel Housing at Joint Base Lewis-McChord (JBLM) near Tacoma.  BWA also will provide interior design services for both projects, for which LEED Silver certification will be sought.  Occupancy of the $8.9 million, 30,000-square-foot WSDOT Administration Facility is slated for January 2018.  Construction of the $42.5 million, 120,000-square-foot JBLM apartment-style housing complex is scheduled to be completed in June 2018.
