Eagle Scout Project Update

Bernardo Wills Architects is proud to support an Eagle Scout project designed by one of our BWA scouts, Isaac Zane. Here is the proposed plan for a new picnic shelter at Roth Park in Rathdrum, Idaho. They are making great progress thanks to all of the sponsors, including Baker Construction & Development, Inc. and DCI Engineers. Fantastic work, Isaac, we can’t wait to see the final result. You are doing your part to make our communities better.

North Bank Playground Project Update

#WorksiteWednesday The North Bank Playground Site is taking shape. Aerial imagery shows the new roof on the picnic pavilion, the graded basketball courts, curbing around the playground, the concrete wall separating the playground and the skate park, the west wall of the O&M building going up and a very busy construction site. Rough grading and curbing at the parking lot has also been started.

Another Worksite Wednesday update, this time out at the Huntwood Cabinets facility expansion in Liberty Lake. Site-cast concrete panels are officially in place. The process was scheduled to take three days, but they only needed a day and a half. Fantastic job, Baker Construction & Development, Inc. Teamwork makes the dream work!

We are the proud recipients of the “Craftsmanship” award from the Oregon Concrete & Aggregate Producers Association’s Excellence in Concrete Awards for our work on the Rosauers Supermarkets Inc location in Ridgefield, WA. The 53,000 SF store is Rosauers’ 22nd location and the first in Western Washington. The project was completed in December of 2019 and employs over 110 community members.

The Bernardo Wills Architects family is praying for those affected by COVID-19 and encouraging our team to keep themselves informed and safe. While observing social distancing measures and business and school closures, we are fully utilizing the tools at our disposal to serve our clients well. Our team is fully capable of remote work, and we will continue to staff our main phone number to direct your questions to the best person. This is uncharted territory for our region, and we are closely monitoring updates from the Washington State Department of Health and the Spokane Regional Health District and adjusting our operations accordingly.
