At the West of Jefferson mixed-use project in Kendall Yards, crews have installed structural reinforcing to what will be the post-tensioned concrete podium, which separates the main floor retail portion of the building from the apartment portion above. The slab will be poured this Friday. This podium is necessary to meet the required fire separation between the retail occupancy and apartment floor occupancy.
