The Trust for Public Lands has produced a report ranking city parks systems – Spokane made it to the top 20. The Riverfront Park improvements are the result of a $64.3 million bond passed by the community in 2014. We are thankful to live and do business in a community that recognizes the value of a robust park system for all residents. We are even more humbled to play a small part in improving those spaces for our neighbors.
“David Patton, the group’s northwest regional director, says it evaluates park systems in five areas: easy access to parks, the amount of acreage, a city’s investment in its parks, park amenities, and whether park space is available in all parts of the city.”
