Join the Ponderay community on Thursday, August 29th, 2024, at 6 PM for the official Grand Opening of the Field of Dreams Recreation Complex. This milestone event will feature a ribbon-cutting ceremony, followed by inaugural games played by local athletes on all four fields. It’s a celebration decades in the making, and we’re excited to see this long-held community dream come to life.

At Bernardo Wills, we are honored to have been part of this transformative project that will bring joy, opportunity, and connection to North Idaho families for generations to come.

Celebrate the Start of Something Special

The first phase of the Field of Dreams project has created a strong foundation for a premier sports and recreation destination. This new complex includes:

• Six U6-U8 soccer/multi-purpose sports fields

• Four U11-12 soccer/multi-purpose sports fields

• A full-size soccer field

• A multi-purpose building with restrooms, storage, concessions, offices, and other essential amenities

Designed with the entire community in mind, the facility also features a large open space, a pavilion, nature trails, and multi-use paths, ensuring that there are recreational opportunities for people of all ages.

Looking Toward the Future

This is just the beginning for the Field of Dreams. Future phases will expand the complex to include playgrounds, sand volleyball courts, tennis courts, baseball fields, and an indoor field house. Additional plans include an expanded event center, indoor ice rink, picnic areas, and a pool (pending approval). Each new phase will continue to strengthen this incredible space, making it an even greater asset to the community.
