New York Times Covers the Completion of the Catalyst Building

Here’s a Good Read: The New York Times covers the completion of the Catalyst Building in the University District. The building was built by KATERRA and designed by Michael Green Architecture. Bernardo Wills Architects provided landscape architecture for the entire project, and architecture and interior design services for the Eastern Washington University space in Catalyst. This building is “ the newest of 384 large ‘mass timber’ buildings in the United States.” The cross-laminated timber panels were manufactured at KATERRA’s 270,000 square-foot plant in Spokane Valley, designed by Bernardo Wills Architects and completed in 2019.
