At Bernardo Wills, we are thrilled to share the exciting progress of the Field of Dreams project in Ponderay, Idaho. This community-driven initiative has been decades in the making, and construction is now in full swing. We are honored to be part of a project that will bring joy and opportunities to future generations of North Idaho families.

The first phase of the Field of Dreams project is designed to create a robust foundation for a premier sports and recreation destination. This includes six U6-U8 soccer/multi-purpose sports fields, four U11-12 soccer/multi-purpose sports fields, and a full-size soccer field. This phase also includes a large open space and a multi-purpose building with restrooms, storage, a concessions area, offices, and other amenities.

Construction crews are installing 20 acres of synthetic turf fields with striping for both soccer and unified lacrosse. The total field size is an impressive 492,340 square feet. Additionally, the fields will be equipped with lighting to extend playtime and enhance safety for all users.

The project includes several community-focused features. A pavilion, nature trails, and multi-use paths will provide recreational opportunities for all ages. The building on-site will house restrooms, storage, and a concessions area, ensuring that visitors have access to essential amenities.

While phase one is scheduled for completion by the end of August 2024, the Field of Dreams project has even more exciting developments planned. Future phases will include the addition of playgrounds, sand volleyball courts, tennis courts, baseball fields, and an indoor field house. There are also plans for picnic areas, an expanded event center, an indoor ice rink, and if permitted, a pool.
