In last week’s Journal of Business, Bernardo Wills announced some exciting changes to our corporate structure, governance, and leadership. We have many announcements to make this summer.
Congratulations to our many colleagues who celebrated their years of service anniversary in the 4th quarter of 2021.

#ThrowbackThursday to our 2021 Team Building Symposium in Montana in August. Each year we invite our staff and their families to enjoy a few days camping and one raucous day paddling the Alberton Gorge of the Clark Fork River, Montana. A big thanks to ROW Adventures for always being great guides. Check out these highlights!

What an awesome day at the AIA/CSI Spokane Golf Tournament at The Creek at Qualchan last week.

#WorksiteWednesday At Eastern Washington University, Graham Construction crews are making great progress on Alberts Court, pushing through the extreme temperatures.

We are proud to announce the retirement of Bob Wills, Founding Principal of Bernardo Wills Architects, ending a 50-year career in architecture. This year, Bernardo Wills Architects celebrates its 30th anniversary and continues the legacy of excellence, collaboration, and continuous improvement set by Bob. His designs have received numerous awards, and more than that, his guidance and mentorship trained the next generation of design professionals to serve Spokane. Throughout his career, Bob was driven by a passion to be truly in sync with his clients by gaining deep knowledge of their aspirations for a project. Central to his approach to architecture is fully engaging the client in the design process. Bob, whose design acumen has been recognized with prestigious awards, focused on commissions for the Armed Forces, K-12, and higher education, aviation services, and professional businesses. Bob is looking forward to focusing his time on other highly technical projects, like reassembling classic cars.

#ThrowbackThursday 30 years ago, Bob Wills and Gary Bernardo founded their firm in an eight-by-ten foot space in the Tomlinson Black Building in Downtown Spokane. Here’s an image from the vault – Gary, Bob, and Bob Wills Sr. building the first conference room table in Bob’s garage. Never despise humble beginnings, it may be just the start of something good. #BWA30Years
