In lieu of traditional gifts for our clients and consultants, this year Bernardo Wills Architects is investing in non-profits that serve the under-served in our community. Throughout the month, we will be highlighting these partners and their missions, as well as asking those who are able to join us in supporting these organizations.
The first community partner we would like to highlight is Vanessa Behan Crisis Nursery. Vanessa Behan Crisis Nursery improves the lives of children in Spokane by providing immediate refuge and safety and ongoing family support. In addition to emergency childcare, they also provide families with an emergency supply of diapers and formula when needed, and parenting classes. They have served many more children this year in response to school and daycare center closures, and we are proud to support their mission. Emily Moline Meyer, Client Engagement Manager at Bernardo Wills, was honored to tour their facility prior to COVID, “The warmth and joy in their facility are tangible. Children are our most precious gifts, and by loving and caring for our children, no matter the situation, Vanessa Behan benefits all of Spokane.”
