Red Cross Blood Drive

Yesterday’s Red Cross blood drive in the Bissinger Room was a huge success – volunteers were able to collect 36 units of blood for those who need it in our community. A huge thanks to Coffman Engineers for partnering with us, the American Red Cross, and all who volunteered their time and resources to donate.

University of Washington, Gonzaga University Medical School

Construction update photo from the Gonzaga University and University of Washington School of Medicine building in Spokane’s University District. Landscape architecture is being provided by the Bernardo Wills Architects landscape architect team. This project incorporates Native American medicinal plantings, and they will be used for interpretation and to assist the GU Medical School with their curriculum. These plantings will occur next Spring, with project completion estimated for May 2022.

Have you met our Office and Venue Manager, Beckie Selby? Beckie joined BWA in August and is already an indispensable member of the team. In addition to supporting our operations team, Beckie also manages our corporate venue, the Bissinger Room. The Bissinger Room is perfect for presentations, training, and retreats for up to 100 attendees while being surrounded by Spokane history. Experience state-of-the-art audio/visual equipment and a variety of meeting room set-ups. Grand Opening of the ICCU Arena at the University of Idaho

We had a great time celebrating the Grand Opening of the ICCU Arena at the University of Idaho last weekend. The new ICCU Arena is an amazing addition to campus, and we are honored to have had a part in its design. Bernardo Wills Architects provided landscape architecture services to Opsis Architecture. Our designers coordinated with the civil engineer on issues such as site finish grading, pedestrian and ADA access routes, parking arrangements, hardscape areas, planting schemes, and site irrigation. We are thrilled with the project result and congratulate the University of Idaho administration, facilities department, and students (the Arena’s biggest donors) on this incredible addition that will serve generations to come. #GoVandals
