BWA Promotes Staff

BWA has promoted the following staff, who also have become shareholders in the firm:

To Principal:

Dell Hatch, ASLA. Dell’s recent experience includes the redevelopment of McEuen Park in Coeur d’Alene, Idaho; City of Spokane Valley Appleway Trail; and pedestrian-friendly improvements to Wall Street in downtown Spokane.

To Associate Principal:

David Hipp, AIA. David is currently working on the BCT Complex, Unaccompanied Enlisted Personnel Housing at Joint Base Lewis-McChord in Washington and the Washington State Department of Transportation North Central Region Administration Facility in Wenatchee.

Charles Horgan, AIA, LEED AP BD+C. Chuck’s commissions include additional classrooms for Summit School for Central Valley School District in the City of Spokane Valley, the NEWTECH Skill Center addition and modernization for Spokane Public Schools, and the Priest Rapids Dam Turbine & Generator Support Building for Public Utility District No. 2 of Grant County (Washington).

Mike Stanicar, AIA. Mike’s portfolio includes the Children’s Choice Dental Building and Regal Plaza at Palouse in Spokane, and Bedrock Plaza in Lewiston, Idaho.

Ryan Zane, AIA, LEED AP BD+C. Ryan’s projects include the remodel of Newport Hospital & Health Services in Newport, Wash.; North Idaho Dermatology Medical Office Building in Coeur d’Alene, Idaho; and multiple projects for Cancer Care Northwest.

BWA Welcomes New Staff

Matt Mercer, BIM/CAD technician; Tonya Wollschleger, project accounting coordinator; and Tara Anderson, materials resource librarian, have joined the firm.  Matt is currently providing drafting, design and construction support for the BCT Complex, Unaccompanied Enlisted Personnel Housing at Joint Base Lewis-McChord in Washington and a multi-tenant retail center on Appleway Avenue in Coeur d’Alene, Idaho.  Serving as the financial liaison between project managers and the office manager, Tonya sets up projects in the accounting/project management system; ensures that processes and procedures for contracts are followed; and prepares invoices, budget updates and project management reports.  Tara’s responsibilities include organizing the interior design department’s materials resource library, assisting with assembly of color boards and project submittals, and helping maintain and populate portions of the firm’s marketing database.
