After our Chili Cookoff was such a hit in March, we needed another contest! Our first ever Taco Contest yesterday brought great eats and even better company. Congratulations to Bill LaRue for his victory with his pork carnitas con chiles verde. Bravo!
Congratulations to Donovan Renz, who has been a part of our facilities team for 3 years, on his high school graduation! He will now be moving into the role of Head Custodian, and we are so proud of his exemplary high school career. Donovan, we can’t wait to see where life takes you next! Cheers!
#WorksiteWednesday AM Landshaper crews are busy moving dirt at the East Valley High School site. A joint project between Spokane County, the City of Spokane Valley, and the East Valley School District will revamp the area between East Valley middle and high schools, including new playfields and utility lines. A traffic signal will be added at Sullivan and Wellesley, as well as new softball and baseball fields, and a practice football facility for East Valley’s secondary schools. Bernardo Wills provided full landscape architecture and sports complex planning for this project.
